South East Queensland Wildflower resources

Sunshine Coast Council brochures
There are as two very useful brochures on the 'Wildflower Festival' webpage that are great to take with you on your wildflowering walks. One has a selection of wildflowers that are typically found in heathland areas with some areas to go for walks on the back. The second is an A4 folding brochure of wildflowers (with some of the same flowers included)

Noosa Native Plants
Noosa Integrated Catchment Association (NICA) has hosted a Noosa Native Plants website on which you can do searches for various plants that can be found across the Noosa, Sunshine Coast and Cooloola regions. This also complements the fieldguide 'Noosa Native Plants' by Stephanie Haslam (with fourth edition now published).

Mangroves to Mountains
This fieldguide by Glenn Leiper, Denis Cox, Jan Glazebrook and Kerry Rathie covers plants to be found across South-East Queensland. You can see general information through the website and can order via an order form or emailing Glenn Leiper

A fieldguide to Native Plants of Bribie Island and nearby coast South-East Queensland by Allan Carr
This little fieldguide is organised simply by colour and is small enough to slip in your bag while going for walks. It can be purchased from Allan and here is another site when you can buy it.
