Wildflowering by Design at Dogwood Crossing@Miles, Western Downs
WIldflowering by Design will be on at Dogwood Crossing@Miles from 25 July - 13 September, 2025. The opening will be on Sat 26 July, 2025 from 1.00 pm. The closing weekend will also coincide with the 'Back to the Bush Festival'.
'Wildflowering by Design' presents works by Queensland artists who work across the art and design spectrum, taking a fresh look at our botanical and wildflower heritage. The exhibition is curated by Dr Susan Davis and Dr Lisa Chandler.
Artists featured include: Rose Barrowcliffe, Nai Nai Bird, Renata Buziak, Donna Davis, Joolie Gibbs, Anne Harris, Nicole Jakins, Shelley Pisani, Edith Rewa, Cara Ann Simpson, Marni Stuart and Emma Thorp.
Local artists include: Michelle Black, Helen Dennis, Elizabeth Graetz, Cindy Grimes, Pat Hinz, Kay Joyce, Leigh Nicholson, Meg Noack, Eileen Parker, Christopher Rigg & Kath Truscott.
This project was made possible by funding from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland. It is also supported through the Regional Arts Development Fund which is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Western Downs Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
